It is the county seat and is the largest town in Adams County. The facitlity is located less than a block from the courthouse, state's attorney's office, sheriff's office and only few blocks from Quincy Police Department and the Department of Children and Family Services. The administrative offices of the Children's Action Network are located in this facility. The center just moved into this facility on May 10, 2005. The center space measures approximately 5,000 square feet. Decorating is still underway but the essentials are in place as seen in the photos. Staff Executive Director: Clairice Hetzler Children's Advocacy Center Coordinator: Brooke Baldwin Purpose- To set up multidisciplinary interviews for child abuse case investigations and maintain contact with involved parties through process of the case. The Coordinator also assists in the continued development and operation of the agency. Child and Family Advocate: Purpose- To reduce systemic trauma to the child victim and non-offending family members. To advocate for successful case outcomes for the child victim. To empower and strenthen non-offending family members in their support of the child victim. To encourage better treatment for the child victim
